This webinar is aimed at providing a high-level overview of 6G for a hyperconnected future to the participants. As fifth generation (5G) global rollout, is underway the focus of wireless research is increasingly shifting towards 6G. We expect that 6G will provide ultimate experience for all through hyper-connectivity involving humans and everything. Even though 6G is few years away, it is already expected to take us into a world of seamless reality where the digital and physical worlds as we know them today have merged, to trigger extrasensory immersive experience. Fast forward to 2030 and we are in a hyper-connected world that needs 1,000 times faster connectivity than what is possible today, with data transfer speed in terabytes per second and extremely low latency allowing response time in a few microseconds. In this session, the speaker will provide comprehensive overview of various aspects related to 6G, including technical and societal trends, drivers, use cases, candidate technologies, and research areas.
